Beyonce is the latest star to sport the £1500 Saint Laurent DUFFLE bag that was created in honour of showbiz pal Gwyneth Paltrow

Female celebrities are constantly setting (and raising) the fashion bar and nothing says 'I'm fabulous' more than being one of the first to get your hands on the 'IT' bag of the season.
This week Beyonce was spotted having a ball in her ringside seat at an NBA All-Star game in Houston, Texas wearing a cute floral blazer, neon heels and toting some subtle but seriously stylish arm candy in the shape of the new Saint Laurent Duffle 12 bag.
It's set to be one of the hottest new bags of the season - Lily Allen, Kate Moss and Sky Ferreira have all been spotted with one - but Gwyneth Paltrow can claim some mega fashion brownie points here because the boxy bag was designed especially for her way back in August last year.

The bag was the first created by the new creative director of Saint Laurent (previously known as Yves Saint Laurent) Hedi Slimane when he took the helm at the luxury fashion brand and Gwyneth debuted it as she strolled through LAX airport last summer.
Unfortunately for Gwyneth Hedi has decided not to name the bag after the actress, instead choosing the rather practical sounding 'Duffle' bag.

The bag comes in three sizes 'depending on your needs for the day' and prices range from £1,335 for the Duffle 6 through to £2,025 for the outsized Duffle 24.
Beyonce's Duffle 12 would have set the singer back £1,545 (the brand insist that it wasn't gifted and that she must have paid for it).
Made of super-soft calfskin the Duffle bag has a suede lining and is actually practical as well as stylish: the shoulder strap can be removed to transform it into a holdall.

The guy’s got Style(s): Harry contemplates art pieces to deck out his bachelor pad at private view

He recently picked up a number of cool vintage items, including a cheeky sign that said ‘Poo’ for his East London bachelor pad.
But it seems Harry Styles was looking for something a little more high-brow as he was spotted perusing an art collection during a private view on Thursday.
The One Direction star was seen deliberating over a number of pieces, while pulling at his famous mop of hair for and rubbing his chin for inspiration at Art13 at Olympia Grand Hall in London.

The 19-year-old didn’t look out of place as he mingled with fellow art lovers at the event.

Dressed in a pair of skinny black jeans and a plain black T-shirt, with a pair brown suede shoes, Harry looked more like a rock star than a pop star.
Not wearing a jacket the young star's tattooed arms were on display, as he held what appeared to be a portfolio or brochure in his hand.

Although he blended in with the crowd his famous curly brown hair gave him away.
Looking especially wild, Harry was seen pushing his hair off his face, perhaps wishing he had styled it that day.
Not surprisingly the singer was recognised as he walked around alone and very graciously he stopped to pose for a picture with a delighted little girl.

Art13 bills itself  as London’s largest and most exciting art fair, which showcases the work from over 120 leading galleries from 30 different countries, so there was bound to be at least a few things to take Harry’s fancy.
It seems Harry is currently trying to deck out his new home as he was spotted picking up a lot of pieces over the weekend.
At the secondhand store called Mr All Sorts Harry bought all of his prized possessions with cash.

Having walked to a nearby cash point for extra money he added an assortment of strange and bizarre items to no doubt decorate his plush bachelor pad.
With his pockets full of money the star splashed out £400 on some animal horns and spent £500 on a retro till.
The patriotic singer also picked up a Union Flag for £250, a art deco Clock for £45, and the letter R for £50.

The cheeky chap also reportedly picked up a sign that said 'Poo' for a cool £100.
His visit to the shop came as he kicked his latest arena tour with his bandmates during a matinee show at London's O2 Arena on Saturday
On Tuesday the star was accidentally hit in the groin by a fan during their performance in Glasgow, causing him to fall on the floor in pain.

Short Wigs Are Sexy Too

There are so many women's wigs out there to choose from that it can be almost liberating to bask in the glow of opportunity and choices. It's a freeing feeling knowing that you can change up your hair from day to day or be drastically different from what you were before.

There is no need to stick to the same hairstyle you had before. It is a choice that you shouldn't take lightly but should revel in and play with.
Many women when purchasing 100% human hair wigs are likely to gravitate toward buying long wigs. This is because in the past, long hair has been prized and lauded as the epitome of beauty and health. This is not the case any longer. While men's gut reaction to women with long hair is of attraction, it is only because in the animalistic instincts of our predecessors, this was a symbol of sexual maturity.

Nowadays, studies have been done to show that women with short hair are viewed as intellectual, honest, independent, caring, emotional, and feminine. This is according to major studies done in the area of psychology and hair length, facial attraction, and personality attribution.
Hairstyles nowadays do not have to be long to be attractive. Short wigs can be just as sexy, and even more so, than long wigs. In another study, it was found that a woman wearing a long wig garnered less interest and attraction than that same woman wearing a short wig.
This interesting development opens up whole new worlds of possibility when purchasing a custom wig. Of course, you must be aware of your facial shape when purchasing a wig. Any face shape can take well to having short hair but there are slight nuances.
If you have a round face, you should avoid haircuts like bobs and other styles that have bangs. This will make your face look wider. Conversely, if you have an oblong face, you should always wear bangs to avoid making your face look longer than it is. These tips should always be followed; however, you are the only person who can tell what is right for you.
When looking for a custom wig, the important thing is that you feel comfortable and that you are able to feel good in it. Regardless of whether you want a long flowing made or you feel your best in a short wig, you should go with your heart and feel great wearing it.

How to Choose the Right Wig For You

Choosing a wig is an important decision. A human hair wig is an investment that you will be able to keep for a long time, as long as you take good care of it. This article will help you decide what kind of wig to buy, and how to take care of it.

1. Face shape: different facial shapes look better with different hair styles. If you have an oval face then you have the most options. If your head is longer, choose a wig that balances the forehead with the chin. Long hair styles and center parted wigs don't look very good on this type. If you have a more square face, choose a human hair wig that minimizes the broad lines and angles of your face, with roundness at the temples and the jaw line. Good styles are curly, shags, and mid-length.

2. Now that you know what you're working with, it's time to decide on a style. The basic wig has a tapered back with the front styled back, or worn around the face. Mid-length goes to about the shoulder, and long wigs pass the shoulder. Short styles include the gamin, the shortest, the shag, which has a longer back, and the curly European hair wigs that come in tight or loose styles.

3. Size: Wigs come in four sizes, measured in inches. Measuring your head will give you an idea of your size. There are three ways of measuring: around the head, front to back and ear to ear. The first takes a tape measure and uses the natural hairline as the top. Measure just over the ears and below the crest of your skull in back. Front to back is as it sounds: follow from your hairline to the top of your neck. Lastly, measure from one ear over the crown of your head to the other.

4. Color: Usually you don't want to stray from the color of your eyebrows. If you are looking for cancer wigs, then you can use any color you want! Most colors come on a number scale from 1 to 60, the lower the darker. If the number has a slash, it means that there is about a 50/50 distribution of two colors. If there is a -, this means that a lighter color is distributed through a darker color to produce a highlight effect.

5. Shorter styles are usually easier to care for. Longer styles may need conditioning and other maintenance.

6. Human hair wigs give you more freedom to style and play with your wig. Synthetic wigs are pre-styled.

7. Buying wig accessories like a wig brush and wig pick to treat your wig and keep it looking new. Overall, wearing a wig is supposed to make you feel confident and comfortable. Go with a style that you love, and remember that if you take care of your wig, it will last longer. Most of all, have fun with it, even if you are wearing it as a chemo patient. Being positive will help you appreciate your wig and make you look and feel better.

'We came from nothing!' Nicki Minaj bonds with Liberian refugee... as American Idol's final ten women are revealed

Trinidadian-born rapper Nicki Minaj wasn’t born with much, and she fought tooth and nail to gain her stardom.
That could be why the Pink Friday singer got so emotional on American Idol this week, when a Liberian refugee, Zoanette Johnson, brought the house down with Circle of Life.
Always one of the most riotous contestants Zoannette, 20, has been in the US since she was two - after escaping from her war torn motherland.

‘I want to do this for my country,’ she said backstage
Last week the buxom performer impressed judges with an insanely rambunctious tune she wrote for them on a whim.
But on Wednesday Zoanette whipped the crowd to into frenzy with a blisteringly powerful version of The Lion King classic Circle of Life.
Sporting a huge blonde afro the larger-than-life 'Habilitation Specialist' cried unashamedly when the whole panel, and most of the 1,500 audience members, leapt to their feet to applaud.

‘Praise be to god,’ sobbed the health worker who now lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The judges were thrilled, especially Nicki, who launched into a monologue:  ‘Zoanette, who gonna check you Boo? You just served it,” said the ecstatic Starships singer, 30.
‘Listen Zoanette, you make me so emotional, you came from Liberia, all those siblings, they are going to get a chance to see you on this show.  I am so proud of you. So proud of you,’ she enthused.
‘I don’t care what people say about you. You are the person we are going to remember after tonight,’ she added, while also applauding her for losing weight.

Likening her own underprivileged background to Zoanette’s the Young Money entertainer continued: 'I’m so proud that this place gives people like you and people like me, who came from absolutely nothing, a place that we didn’t think we’d make it out alive from, it gives us the chance. Thank you,’ she shouted pointing vigorously with her finger.
The other judges agreed, if not quite so vehemently.
‘Forget the king of the jungle, kudos to the queen of the jungle right there,’ said Keith Urban.
‘Listen America! This is why Zoanette is here tonight. That spirit is infectious,’ bellowed Randy Jackson.

‘We’re all feeling something here right now,’ roared the veteran music mogul.
Mariah Carey said she loved Zoanette’s unique, quirky personality and the fact she ‘won’t fit into a cookie cutter.’
‘Your spirit is too big to contain,’ she breathed.
The Liberian bombshell sailed through to the next round but others – who performed earlier in the Las Vegas show - were not so lucky.
First to hit the stage in the second round of the sudden death eliminations was 19-year-old New Yorker Melinda Ademi, a music student at Hunter College.

The Kosovo-born teen, who was rejected from Idol Season 10, sang a fairly wobbly rendition of Jessie J’s Nobody’s Perfect.
‘I felt like nerves were trying to get on top of you but half way through you got into your stride,’ said Keith Urban.
In harsh mood again was Nicki Minaj who compared Melinda’s performance to that of Angela Miller, who sang the same song last week.
‘Angela was so much more connected with the song… Lady Bug,’ she said using her favourite pet name for the girls.

Randy wasn’t impressed either: ‘You could be in a little bit of trouble tonight I think,’ he said, and he was right – Melinda was voted out at the end.
‘I know what you’re capable of but it’s a tough night,’ consoled Mariah.
Candice Glover, 23-year-old Excursions Coordinator from South Carolina was especially keen to impress the judges after getting cut from last year’s Idol in the Vegas round.
Clad in white, studded leather and black stilettos she sang Carole King’s (You Make Me Feel Like A) Natural Woman.

‘It boggles my brain that you didn’t make it past Vegas last year,’ said Nicki.
‘You have one of the strongest voices in the competition.’
‘I agree that you are a bonafide singer,’ said Mariah, who looked sultry with caramel curls and a scarlet manicure.
